Wednesday will be the day that Lloyd's specialists visit the banking hub at Stamford Arts Centre.
The bank itself closed its doors for the final time yesterday on Stamford High Street. Its building was purpose-built for the bank back in 1880. Santander is the only bank remaining in town now, and that's open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
There are still building societies, including Nationwide and the Melton. The banking hub offers over-the-counter services for all banks at the Arts Centre and visiting specialists from each bank one day a week.
