Rutland County Council is halfway through a spend of nearly £7m to improve the county's roads.
The latest project at London Road in Uppingham took place overnight and was completed ahead of schedule.
Eight kilometres of roads in the county are being completely resurfaced over this financial year. Money is also being spent on pothole repairs, footpath upgrades, and verge maintenance, as well as major drainage schemes that will help to reduce the risk of flooding on Rutland's roads.
