Police are unsure as to the circumstances of the death, but believe the 36 year old was hit by a vehicle. They're looking for witnesses.
A man’s died on the A1 after it’s believed he was hit by a vehicle at North Witham last night. He was 36. Police received reports of problems on the A1 at quarter to seven last night – ten minutes before, they also took a call from a man on the hard shoulder with a white Volkeswagen Golf – officers are considering this as part of their investigation. They’d like to hear from anyone who was using the stretch of the A1 between North Witham and Colsterworth between 6.30 and 7 last night, including anyone with dashcam footage. The road was closed for investigation until 5 o’clock this morning.
