Police in Stamford have named the 67 year old man who died in Foundry Road this week as Nigel Booth.
A 36 year old man arrested on suspicion of murder remains in custody. Officers are continuing to appeal for information from anyone who was in the area in the early hours of Monday morning and may have seen or heard anything that may relate to the incident to get in touch.
