Rutland and Stamford Sound was recognised yesterday in the outgoing Mayor of Stamford's awards.
Councillor Andy Croft presented cheques of over £1,600 each to his mayoral charities of Stamford Brass and the Lions Club of Stamford. The Stamford Shield to Darren Rawnsley for his volunteering in the arts and recognising Rob Persani for contribution to local radio since 1998.
