South Kesteven District Council hasn't put the site in its local plan. Now the government has increased the housing target for the district It can't demonstrate a 5 year housing supply, so like Rutland, it's much harder to reject applications. Ermine Fields from Ashberry Strategic Land promises a new community that respects and enhances the town's historic character, including play spaces, public parkland and improved links to Great Casterton and surrounding areas, all while enhancing biodiversity and promoting long term sustainability. An exhibition by the developer is being held at Great Casterton Church Hall next Thursday afternoon.
