Women’s Football:

Oakham United unbeaten run in all competitions goes to six as they beat East Goscote United 3-0. Zina Cheikh with two and Bethanie Munton the scorers, which sees them move up to 3rd.

Cambridgeshire Women’s League Division 1 saw Ketton Sports lose 1-0 at home to Leverington Sports.

In Division 2, Deeping Rangers returned to the top the table after their 6-0 win against Willingham Wolves. The goals coming from a Yasmin Brace double, Jade Butler, Harriet Coles, Catherine Hobday and Tiana Tickner.

Under 16 Division 1 – Stamford AFC Young Daniels Red 3–2 Crowland Juniors.

Women’s Rugby:

Stamford Women made it two trophies in a week as they retained the Lincolnshire Cup at Sleaford Rugby Club beating Boston Ladies in a tough game by 19 points to 17.

Cricket:

Rutland League:

Oakham 1sts started their Division 1 season with an eight wicket win after dismissing Werrington 1sts for 179.

Division 2 saw Uppingham Town post 355-3, which included 118 for Hayden Brough as they beat Orton Park 1sts by 244 runs.

Division 3 - Stamford Town 1sts lost by four wickets at home to Pak Azad 1sts after being dismissed for 103, whilst Ketton Sports 1sts were beaten by 52 runs after Castor & Ailsworth 1sts had made 250-7.

Division 4 East - Market Overton 1sts won by 43 runs at home to Ufford Park 2nd X1 after making 258, Joe Peveritt 108 not out.

Grantham and Melton Cricket Association Division 2:

Burghley Park 2nd X1 lost by five wickets at home to Ashby Carington 1sts after they had made 240-6.

Women’s Cricket:

Market Overton 1sts in the East Midlands Women’s Cricket League Division 1 beat Plumtree 1sts away by four wickets.

Women’s Softball:

Oakham 1st XI lost by 87 runs to Fleckney Village with North Kilworth conceding their fixture.
