Cricket 

Leicestershire and Rutland League 

Oakham 1sts lost by 7 wickets at Kibworth 1sts, 2nds beaten by visitors Asian Sports 2nds by 4 wickets with the 3rds also losing at home, the margin 40 runs to Leicester Eagles 1sts.

Uppingham Town 1sts went down by 7 wickets at Newtown Linford 2nds. The result sees them drop back to third in Premier 2. The 2nds with a 6-wicket victory at home over Houghton & Thurnby 3rds but the 3rds having a 63-run defeat to visitors Egerton Park 3rds. 

A 92-run home win for Market Overton 1sts over Ashby Carington who they beat in June with the 2nds losing at Houghton & Thurnby 4th XI by 160 runs.

Wakerley & Barrowden 1sts had a 7 wicket win at Syston Town 3rds to secure a league double. 

Lincolnshire Premier Cricket League  

Burghley Park 1sts with 142 from James Laud beat Woodhall Spa 1sts at home by 210 runs. The 2nds winning at Woodhall Spa 2nds to complete a double by 149 runs. Alex Ashwin with 103. 

Ketton Sports 1sts lost by 1 wicket at Market Deeping 1sts, whilst the 2nds went down by 4 wickets at home to Baston 1sts. 

Leaders, Uffington 1sts in Division 3 South completed the double at Stamford Town 2nds by 9 wickets.

Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire Premier League Division 3     

Stamford Town 1sts, despite Chris Birch with 5-48 lost by 138 runs at March Town 1sts.  

Rutland League 

Uppingham Town made it four wins in a row as they beat visitors City 1sts by 5 wickets with nine balls remaining to replace them in second in Division 1. Hayden Brough making exactly 100 in their reply.

Meanwhile, Uffington 1sts were beaten by 7 wickets at Peterborough Town 1sts.    

Oakham 1sts suffered a 72-run defeat to visitors Orton Park as they lost for the fourth game in a row. 

Drama as Stamford Town 1sts tied at home against Bourne 1sts in Division 3. The hosts scoring eight runs of the last over. 

Bottom of the table game in Division 4 saw Uffington 2nds lose by 111 runs at home to Peterborough Town 2nds. This was after Hitesh Karavadra had taken 5-38 for them.  

Grantham and Melton Cricket Association Division 2 

Market Overton 1sts were beaten at leaders Ashby Carrington 1sts by 8 wickets, whilst Stamford Town 2nds game was conceded by Buckminster.
