Happy Halloween! We have a special ghost stories show airing from 7-10pm on Saturday night accompanied by your favourite Halloween songs, or you can listen to the stories as a podcast below.
Welcome to spooky tales from Rutland and Stamford Sound- ghostly stories from across the local area.
Halloween is here and it is the perfect time to share some of the legends and tales passed on through generations about the spooky goings-on in our local area.
After all, Rutland and Stamford is full of history. Over the episode our presenters will tell tales shared with us by local people and local venues.
Do be ware- this special episode does contain some scary accounts and may not be suitable for children.
These stories are of course legends passed down through word of mouth and we do not take any responsibility for verifying the truth behind the tales. Any resemblance within the stories to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.
Thank you to our contributors from across the local area including Rockingham Castle, the White Hart in Ufford, The Falcon Hotel Uppingham, Kirby Hall, Stamford Walking Tours, SW2 Plumbing and Heating and Ali from The Kings Arms in Wing.
