Leicester Tigers have a home tie in the play-off semi-finals next Saturday against Sale Sharks in the Gallagher English Premiership after they beat Newcastle Falcons 42-20. Northampton Saints lost at Gloucester 41-26.

Leicestershire & Rutland League:

Oakham 1sts secured their first win in the Premier Division by 57 runs against Kibworth 1sts who were bowled out for 127. The 2nds in Division 4 East lost to Aryans 1sts by 29 runs despite a maiden century from Angus Owen, 102. In Division 9 East, the 3rd X1 had a four wicket win over Uppingham Town 3rd X1 who were all out for 154.

Uppingham Town 1sts in Division 1 beat Loughborough Town 2nds by 20 runs, whilst in Division 5 East the 2nds had a seven-wicket win over Leicester Caribbean 2nd XI.

Market Overton 1sts lost by 66 runs to leaders Leicester Stars 1sts. The 2nds conceded to Rothley

Park 4th XI in Division 9 East.

Wakerley & Barrowden 1sts in Division 9 East made it two wins in a row as they won by 123 runs after dismissing Houghton & Thurnby 4th X1 for 60. Captain Chris White scoring 65 then taking 8-19.

Lincolnshire Cricket Board Premier League:

Burghley Park 1sts made it four wins on the bounce against unbeaten Scunthorpe Town 1sts away by 29 runs.

South Lincs & Border League:

Burghley Park 2nds in Division 1 beat Moulton Harrox 2nds by 192 runs after making 338-4, David Platt not out 139. Joe Youngs then taking 6-33.

In Division 3, Uffington 1sts won by 228 runs at Heckington 2nds. A maiden hundred for the side of 121 by Kristian Ramsier with Ted Genever taking 5-5 to dismiss them for 50.

Ketton Sports 2nds in the Dave Morris Trophy Group A beat Royal Boston 2nds by seven wickets.

Cambridgeshire & Huntingdonshire League Division 2:

Stamford Town 1sts lost at St Ives Town & Warboys 1sts by 96 runs.

Huntingdonshire League Division 2:

Stamford Town 2nds lost by ten wickets to league leaders Ickwell 1sts.

Rutland League:

Burghley Park 1sts have gone top of Division 1 after they won by 47 runs away at Werrington 1sts who were dismissed for 150.

Uffington 1sts in Division 2 made it two wins on the bounce with a six-wicket victory over Orton Park 1sts who had made 217-8. Thanks to Rob Bentley who was 115 not out they reached the target in the 34th over.

As to the 2nds in Division 4 West, they won on their travels at Kettering Town 1sts by 36 runs after making 242-9 with our very own Dean Cornish top scoring with 77.

In Division 3, Ketton Sports 1sts picked up their first league win as they beat Bourne 1sts by 78 runs as their visitors were all out for just 71.

Stamford Town 1sts despite restricting United Sports 1sts to 184, thanks to 5-37 from Joel Garner-Dart lost by 19 runs.

Division 4 East saw Market Overton 1sts lose at home by 157 runs to unbeaten and top of the table Hampton 1sts who made 318-6.

Grantham and Melton Cricket Association Division 2:

Burghley Park 2nds lost by 64 runs away to Frisby, Hoby & Rotherby 1sts who had scored 247-4.

Stamford Town 2nds fell 43 runs short at Thorpe Arnold Sunday 1sts total of 197 who remain unbeaten in the league.
