Oakham 1sts lost to leaders Rothley Park 1sts by 98 runs in the Premier Division. In Division 9 East, the 3rd X1 completed a league double over Barkby United 3rd X1 by seven wickets.

Uppingham Town 1sts in Division 1 lost at Sileby Town 2nds by 142 runs with the 2nds in Division 5 East losing by six wickets to Wigston Town 1sts. Uppingham Town 3rd X1 winning run continues with a 148-run win and league double at Houghton & Thurnby 4th XI in Division 9 East.

Market Overton 1sts in Division 7 East made it four wins in a row and league double with a 178-run victory over Ashby Carington, who were all out for 118 with Ryan Thwaites taking 5-16, whilst the 2nds in Division 9 East lost to 2nd placed Electricity Sports 4th XI by 162 runs.

Wakerley & Barrowden 1sts in Division 9 East lost for the first time since mid-June at Rothley Park 4th X1 by 102 runs.

Lincolnshire Cricket Board Premier League:

Burghley Park 1sts completed the double at Grimsby Town with a 90-run win after making 317-6.

South Lincs & Border League:

The Ketton Sports 1sts game at Skegness 1sts in the Championship was abandoned, whilst Burghley Park 2nds fixture in Division 1 was conceded by Boston 2nds.

Cambridgeshire & Huntingdonshire League Division 2:

Stamford Town 1sts lost at Newmarket 1sts by 56 runs.

Huntingdonshire League Division 2:

Stamford Town 2nds recorded their first win since early May as they beat 4th placed Nassington 1sts by four wickets after they had made 179.

Rutland League:

Burghley Park 1sts in Division 1 have dropped to second after they were beaten by 28 runs at home by Barnack 1sts who had made 257-9.

To Division 2 and Uffington 1sts lost for the first time since May away at next to bottom Orton Park 1sts.

As to the 2nds in Division 4 West they went down by just eight runs after being dismissed for 220, which included an unbeaten 110 from Damien Herrick at home to top of the table Benefield 1sts.

Grantham and Melton Cricket Association Division 2:

Stamford Town 2nds returned to winning ways as they won at 4th placed Ashby Carington 1sts by three wickets after the hosts had made 237-5. Burghley Park 2nds lost by 190 runs at Croxton Kerrial 1sts who had posted 298-7.

Football:

Local league football got underway in the United Counties Premier Division North with Blackstones winning 1-0 at Hucknall Town, Nathan Rudman with the goal on 87 minutes and Deeping Rangers winning 1-0 at home to Ashby Ivanhoe. Byron Adiado the scorer.
