Oakham 1sts made 237 thanks to 125 from Harry Tyler to secure the double over Kibworth 1sts by 99 runs in the Premier Division. The 2nds in Division 4 East lost to Aryans 1sts with the 3rd X1 in Division 9 East ending Uppingham Town’s 3rd X1 unbeaten run with a seven-wicket victory and league double.

Uppingham Town 1sts in Division 1, despite 109 from Hayden Brough lost to Loughborough Town 2nds by seven wickets with the 2nds in Division 5 East losing at Leicester Caribbean 2nds by 26 runs.

Market Overton 1sts in Division 7 East lost to Leicester Stars 1sts by 37 runs, whilst the 2nds in Division 9 East losing by seven wickets to Rothley Park 4th XI.

Wakerley & Barrowden 1sts in Division 9 East secured a league double by seven wickets over Houghton & Thurnby 4th XI who were all out for 112.

Lincolnshire Cricket Board Premier League:

Burghley Park 1sts completed the double over Nettleham 1sts by 60 runs after making 366-4, James Laud 136 and Michael Hobbiss 110 not out.

South Lincs & Border League:

In the Championship, Ketton Sports 1sts were dismissed for 83 and then bowled out Boston 1sts for 74.

Burghley Park 2nds in Division 1 lost at Moulton Harrox 2nds by 120 runs.

To Division 3 and Uffington 1sts were dismissed for 65 at leaders Freiston L&L 2nds who won by 198 runs. Ketton Sports 2nds beat Billingborough 2nds by seven wickets. A maiden senior hundred (106 not out) for Will Stevenson.

Cambridgeshire & Huntingdonshire League Division 2:

Stamford Town 1sts beat Saffron Walden 2nds by 26 runs.

Huntingdonshire League Division 2

Stamford Town 2nds lost at Biggleswade 2nds by eight wickets.

Rutland League:

Oakham 1sts who had made 217-9 in Division 1 lost to league leaders Newborough 1sts by five wickets.

In Division 2, leaders Uppingham Town remain top after they beat and completed a league double over 2nd placed East Carlton 1sts by 141 runs after they bowled them out for 85. Earlier Hayden Brough following his hundred on Saturday made 87.

A nail-biting finish saw Uffington 1sts return to winning ways and league double as they beat Wellingborough Indians 1sts by one wicket after being set 200 to win.

To Division 3, where Ketton Sports 1sts lost at Adidda 1sts by six wickets, whilst Stamford Town 1sts game was conceded by Wellingborough Indians 2nds.

Grantham and Melton Cricket Association Division 2:

Burghley Park 2nds beat 3rd placed Frisby, Hoby & Rotherby 1sts by five wickets to record their first win since June after they had dismissed them for only 77, whilst Stamford Town 2nds made it back-to-back wins by seven wickets over 2nd placed Thorpe Arnold 1sts who they bowled out for 148.

Women’s Cricket

Market Overton 1sts completed a 218-run win and double over bottom side Woodhall Spa 1sts. After posting 246-5 in which Amy Helstrip was 112 not out, the visitors were dismissed for only 28 runs.

Football

Peterborough United lost their league opener 2-1 at Cardiff City after leading at half-time.

FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round saw Blackstones beat AFC Mansfield 2-1, Nathan Rudman penalty and Josh Sennett the scorers, Bourne Town won 2-1 at Harrowby United, Robbie Ellis and Zac Allen with the goals, whilst Deeping Rangers went down 1-0 to Wellingborough Town.
