Leicestershire & Rutland League:

Oakham 1sts beat Kegworth Town 1sts by seven wickets in the Premier Division, Shaun Morris taking 5-38 with the 2nds losing at Market Harborough 1sts by 16 runs in Division 4 East. The 3rd X1 in Division 9 East completed a ten-wicket win and league double over Broughton Astley 2nds.

Uppingham Town 1sts in Division 1 won by 165-runs against Syston Town 1sts, with Hayden Brough scoring 207 in their 317-5. The 2nds lost by ten runs at Whetstone 1sts in Division 5 East, whilst the 3rds beat Fleckney Village 2nds by 26 runs to secure the double in Division 9 East.

Market Overton 1sts in Division 7 East won at Kibworth 4th XI to complete a league double by four wickets. This followed Ryan Thwaites 5-34 and Will Ellis 5-51 in the hosts innings. The 2nds in Division 9 East lost at home to Barkby United 3rd XI by 88 runs.

Wakerley & Barrowden 1sts in Division 9 East made it four wins in a row and league double with a seven-wicket win against Countesthorpe 3rd XI.

Lincolnshire Cricket Board Premier League:

Burghley Park 1sts made 326-7, Peter Foster 135 not out and Sam Potter 100 to beat Market Deeping 1sts by 116 runs.

South Lincs & Border League:

In Division 1, Burghley Park 2nds lost to leaders Orton Park 1sts by eight wickets, whilst in Division 3, Ketton Sports 2nds game was conceded by Heckington 2nds.

Cambridgeshire & Huntingdonshire League Division 2:

Stamford Town 1sts lost at Kimbolton 1sts by five wickets with the 2nds in the Huntingdonshire League Division 2 denying Blunham 2nds four wins on the bounce with a 43-run win.

Rutland League:

In Division 1, 2nd placed Burghley Park 1sts won by two wickets in a crucial game at 3rd placed Peterborough Town 1sts who had made 172, whilst Oakham 1sts lost at Ufford Park 1sts by six wickets after they had made 267-8.

Leaders of Division 2, Uppingham Town posted 399 all out, Charlie Cox scoring 182 at next to bottom Orton Park 1sts, who were then dismissed for 134 with Captain Sam Rees having impressive figures of 7-30 for a 265-run win, whilst 3rd placed Uffington 1sts lost away to City 2nds by 39 runs after they were bowled out for 207.

To Division 3 and United Sports 1sts proved too strong for Stamford Town 1sts after dismissing them for 93 they won by eight wickets.

Grantham and Melton Cricket Association Division 2:

Burghley Park 2nds made it back-to-back wins as they beat Melton Mowbray 1sts by 124 runs after making 268-6, which included 123 retired not out from Peter Hewat.

Football

Leicester City won 1-0 at Charlton Athletic in the Championship thanks to an Abdul Fatawu goal.

Peterborough United are underway as they came back from 1-0 down through Cian Hayes stoppage time goal in League One to draw 1-1 with Bradford City.

The Daniels have their first goal after trailing at the break they drew 1-1 thanks to a Jack Duffy goal against Halesowen Town in the Southern League Premier Central.

In the Premier Division of the Peterborough and District League both Uppingham Town and Oakham United could not make it three wins in a row. Uppingham Town beaten 1-0 at home by Leverington Sports with Oakham United losing at home, 3-2, Charlie Willis and an own goal to Moulton Harrox.

Stamford Bells bounced back at home after their midweek defeat with a 3-2 victory over Whittlesey Athletic Reserves thanks to a brace from Josh Dowell and a goal from Alfie Winters.

The Daniels Reserves unbeaten start has ended in Division 1 losing 3-0 at Long Sutton Athletic and are replaced at the top by unbeaten Ketton Sports Premiair following their 2-1- win at ICA Sports. Dean Giglio and Seb Mills on target again.

Bourne Town have their first win in the Northern Premier League – Midlands Division as they beat Bedworth United 2-1 through Lewis Darlington and the winner in the 91st minute from Zac Allen.

FA Vase 1st Round Qualifying saw Blackstones go down at United Counties League Division 1, South Normanton Athletic First 3-0, whilst better news as Deeping Rangers are through, 5-0 at home against Allexton & New Parks. Byron Adiado double, Ewan Fieldhouse, Harvey Thorne and Airidas Voveris.

Finally, Cottesmore lost 5-0 at home to Sileby Town to leave them still without a point in the Everards Brewery Premier Division.
