Oakham 1sts could not make three wins on the bounce in the Premier Division losing by 60 runs after being bowled out by next-to-bottom Cropston 1sts for 86. In Division 9 East, the 3rd X1 lost at second placed Egerton Park 3rd XI by 39 runs. The 2nds fixture with Bitteswell 1sts was abandoned.

Uppingham Town 2nds completed a 10-wicket win at home over Blaby Village 1sts after Bradley Sheehan had taken 5-17 in Division 5 East. The 1sts game against Barwell 1sts and the 3rds fixture at Broughton Astley 2nds were abandoned. Before the rain, the 3rds had made 307-3, 117 each for Will Rossiter and Zac Finnemore

Market Overton 1sts in Division 7 East had an eight-wicket win over visitors Fleckney Village 1sts, whilst the 2nds in Division 9 East won by 10 wickets at Countesthorpe 3rd X1 after they bowled them out for 68, Tom Norwood taking 5-16.

Wakerley & Barrowden 1sts game at Fleckney Village 2nds in Division 9 East also abandoned.

Lincolnshire Cricket Board Premier League:

Burghley Park 1sts after making 261 won by 133 runs over Grantham 1sts to make it two wins in a row.

South Lincs & Border League

Ketton Sports 1sts were dismissed for 110 as top of the table Newborough 1sts beat them by eight wickets in the Championship.

Cambridgeshire & Huntingdonshire League Division 2:

Stamford Town 1sts have been relegated following their 258-run defeat at Cambridge NCI 1sts after they had made 393-2.

Rutland League:

Burghley Park 1sts will have to keep their celebrations of the Division 1 title on hold after completing their season beating Ufford Park 1sts away by one wicket after dismissing them for 132. Defending champions, Peterborough Town 1sts still have three games to play and can still mathematically retain the title.

Oakham 1sts game against Barnack 1sts in Division 1 was abandoned at tea. Before that opener Will Begy carried his bat with 112 not out.

Champions Uppingham Town celebrated the Division 2 title and return to Division 1 after relegation last year with a 112-run victory over City 2nds after making 290. Uffington 1sts home fixture was conceded by bottom side Wisbech Town 1sts.

Ketton Sports 1sts in Division 3 had an excellent three-wicket win over top of the table Pak Azad 1sts who had made 152, but Stamford Town 1sts went down at Adidda 1sts by 117 runs after they were all out for 87.

Finally in Division 4 West, Uffington 2nds lost by 171 runs at Kimbolton 1sts.

Grantham and Melton Cricket Association Division 2

Burghley Park 2nds could not make it three wins in a row as they lost at home by six wickets to Thorpe Arnold 1sts, whilst a disappointing day at the office for Stamford Town 2nds after the hosts Frisby, Hoby & Rotherby 1sts had made 310-4 in their reply they were all out for just 21 in 14 overs.

Women’s Cricket

Top of the table game between Market Overton 1sts and leaders Ockbrook & Borrowash 1sts in the East Midlands Women’s Cricket League Division 1 was abandoned.

Football

Peterborough United went down 3-0 away at Exeter City in League One.

The Daniels are through to the FA Cup 2nd Round Qualifying after they won 1-0 at home over Coventry Sphinx, Jordon Cooke with the goal. Bourne Town have a Tuesday replay following their goalless draw at home to Shepshed Dynamo.

In the Premier Division of the Peterborough and District League, Uppingham Town returned to winning ways, 4-0 away to Whittlesey Athletic Reserves thanks to a Sam Blackwell hat-trick and Fynn Seggie goal. Oakham United went down to a third home defeat in row after Sawtry beat them 3-1, Charlie Willis with the goal.

Moving to Division 1 and leaders Ketton Sports Premiair remain unbeaten following their 5-2 win at home over Yaxley Reserves. A Dean Giglio  brace and one a piece for Nathan Bedford, Seb Mills and Alex Moroz.

Daniels Reserves won 9-1 away at Crowland Town Reserves. Tyrell Campbell-Smith and Adam Steels with two each Dan Aust, Joey Buckingham, Riley Kendle, Dan Kettleborough and Aston Taylor the other scorers.

Stamford Lions picked up their first point of the season in 0-0 draw at next-to-bottom Wisbech Town Reserves.

In the United Counties Premier Division North, Blackstones unbeaten league run goes to four and no goals conceded with a 3-0 win over Ashby Ivanhoe. Josh Barrett, Eddie Thorpe and Matt Walker on target. Deeping Rangers had a 1-0 win over top of the table Grantham Town thanks to a Ryan Cook goal.

Cottesmore still await their first points going down 3-0 at home to Anstey Town in the Everards Brewery Premier Division.
