The 26th annual Rutland Beer Festival continues at The Grainstore in Oakham this weekend with a strong focus on real ale, including its own brews. Over 40 real ales from across the country are on tap with an array of golden ales, stouts, bitters, porters, and barley wines, and a wide selection of traditional ciders.
There's live entertainment and barbecues throughout the festival, including sausages from Grasmere Farm, and on Saturday, the World Amateur Pork Pie Championships, which has raised over £60,000 since it began for EMICS, the East Midlands Immediate Care Scheme. Two prizes will be presented on Saturday afternoon for the best in class pies.
