A van fire on the A1 yesterday afternoon near Thornhaugh is believed to have been the fish and chip van that visits several of our local villages.
Nannys say all of their routes are cancelled until further notice, and they sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. They normally serve Easton on the Hill, Collyweston, Ketton, Ryhall, Essendine, Castle Bytham, Corby Glen, Kings' Cliffe, and other nearby communities weekly.
It's understood it was only just back on the road following repairs.
