Local independent Sales & Lettings Agent Newton Fallowell have teamed up with Agents Giving and Stephen Brown SJB Consultancy in funding and donating laptops to local schools for children in need.
“Whilst the pandemic continues, it’s becoming far more challenging for those parents having to parent, work and home school at the same time” says Jason Treadwell, Managing Director of Newton Fallowell.
Jason and wife Laura have four children. Jason says, “whilst we’re fortunate to have the technology at home to engage with the teaching staff, the same can’t be said for all families and so this felt like a more than worthy cause.”
Newton Fallowell posted on Facebook and Instagram, asking for suggestions of schools which needed a laptop. Posts were liked and shared with local residents, with many commenting and nominating their schools in need of the technology. A winner was drawn from each of the Newton Fallowell offices in Stamford, Oakham & Bourne. Schools were contacted and provided with the brand new laptops free of charge.
“The whole team is behind this and realises life is hard for all at this challenging time.” Says Jason. “If there’s any way we can do our bit for the local community and give back something, we certainly will.”
