A woman in her 80s has died after a collision in Cold Overton on Tuesday this week.
Police were called to Main Street, just north of the village, just after 5:20 in the afternoon to a report of a silver Ford Fiesta had hit a tree. The driver was taken to hospital by air ambulance but passed away as a result of their injuries on Thursday. Leicestershire Police is asking for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to come forward, including anyone who saw the car before the incident occurred.
