On International Women’s Day on Monday Alicia Kearns, MP for Rutland and Melton, was recognised as one of the top 100 Women in Westminster.
Alicia Kearns has been selected as part of The House magazine’s list which celebrates International Women’s Day by recognising one hundred of the most inspiring women in public life, from parliamentarians, to journalists, civil servants, and activists.
Alicia Kearns is the only member of the 2019 intake of MPs to be awarded this honour, which recognises her contribution in Westminster since her election.
Speaking in a parliamentary debate in Westminster Hall on Monday, Alicia Kearns repeated her calls for a ban on LGBTQ+ conversion therapy.
