Rutland County Council's cabinet is meeting this morning to discuss its finances
and waste services as plans are put in place for food caddy and smaller general waste bins to be distributed. It's also been revealed that the charge for next year's green bin collection will rise to £73 from £60. The council says putting it in line with neighbouring authorities. Charges were first introduced in 2018 at just £35.
