When Toffee the border terrier slipped her lead in a strange town on Christmas Eve, people in Stamford put their celebrations on hold to look for her. She was found safe and well on Boxing Day at Stamford School. Her owner Sharon Monteith from Kettering says she met so many local people, all looking for her dog.
The owner of a dog that slipped its lead in Stamford on Christmas Eve is thanking the people of the town who helped her look for her pet during the two days that followed. Sharon Monteith from Kettering visited The George and then went off for some last minute shopping. Toffee slipped her lead and was found safe and well on Boxing Day morning after two nights away. Sharon told Rob Persani she can’t think the Stamford community enough for their help and support:
