A petition has been launched against the charge being introduced to collect waste at village halls in Rutland.
Empingham say they were written to last month, and it will cost them around £700 extra a year to service two bins, which they say they'll be forced to pass on to users. The charges are due from September. The petition will be available to sign at the Art and Craft event at the Barn on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, and also at the Cricket Club Emplified event on Sunday.
