It's the final day of Oakham Baptist Church's Summer of Love, a four-day free festival of food, fun and celebration.
Today, following their worship, there's a chance to see a new part of the church as they prepare to launch the Rutland Hub, a new community space next door to the church, which was formerly the Hub and Spoke and previously the White Lion Inn. Reverend Tom Bowring says they were hoping for the official launch, and although they're not quite there yet, you can still get a taste of what's to come.
"We've got a service at 10:30 followed by a big free barbecue as well. So if you've not been to anything yet this weekend, do come down, share some time, share some community, share some Summer of Love, and there is a chance to see some of the Rutland hub now.
It's not quite there yet, but very, very soon there'll be the official grand opening of it. We were delayed by a couple of months, but we are almost sorted downstairs. So after the service is a great chance to come in, have a look at what we've done with the place, and enjoy some of our amazing coffee as well."
It's the final day of the Royal Kennel Club's International Agility Festival at the Rutland Showground with 18 rings running throughout and cool areas for the dogs and their handlers.
