A huge tombola just off Stamford High Street today will raise funds to help people in Gaza.
Several locals have links with families in the war-torn country are coming together to raise funds today in St. Michael's churchyard. Harpist Eleanor Turner will also play. Organiser Marleni Hill who teaches yoga in the town. Say she's been collecting for today since last autumn.
‘It is £1 a ticket. So hopefully we'll try to sell 500 tickets. So we're very hopeful that the community will come and show their support’.
