There's just a few days left to have your say on Rutland strategy for housing, homelessness and rough sleeping.
The County Council's vision is for fair access to suitable and sustainable housing for everyone in Rutland, particularly those whose needs are not readily met through the open market. They also hope to prevent homelessness and promote housing options, provide targeted support for vulnerable households, make sure at least 40 affordable homes are built each year, and to ensure existing homes are fit for purpose, including any adaptations people need. Consultation runs until next Monday and it's on the Rutland County Council website under Housing Consultation.
