Uppingham has a chance to shine tonight with an annual late night shopping event.
They've booked over 50 stalls with attractions in the marketplace expected to include a free carousel and a snow globe big enough to get inside. The High Sheriff and Rutland and Stamford Sound will together switch on the lights at 5:30pm and the primary schools will sing at the Christmas tree.
