Lincolnshire Police is appealing for witnesses to a serious collision on the A1 at South Witham at the weekend,
which led to the death of a woman and a dog. They're looking for people that were in the area on Saturday night between 9:15 and 9:30pm and remember seeing a man, woman and dog walking in the area of the Great North Road, or the actual collision itself. Officers arrested a 24 year old man on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He's been released under investigation. A 58 year old man arrested on suspicion of murder has been released without charge. They now believe the incident was caused by careless driving and there were no further suspicious circumstances.
