A disability football coach from Stamford, who was honoured by the Mayor's Star of Stamford Awards, has been recognised by the Leicestershire and Rutland FA.
Sean Jesson from One Touch Inclusion Football has been crowned Grassroots Disability Coach of the Year at a ceremony this weekend. He said
"And now it's just escalated to having three teams in the inclusion league looking to potentially next year to have extra teams and an adults team. And it's nice and rewarding when I had a couple of reviews One parent come to me and said her son had never gone out of the house for seven years. Now he's there wanting to go into coaching, so he'll be one of my assistants next year."
