Rutland has three options on the table when it comes to local government reorganisation.
Join a single Leicestershire authority, a north and south with the seven districts of Leicestershire, or with South and North Kesteven and South Holland. Interim plans need to be submitted to the government today.
Leader of Rutland County Council, Gale Waller says they continue to have serious concerns about a one Leicestershire model and will carry out detailed analysis on the proposals and widespread public engagement on all the options that include Rutland. The deadline for final proposals is November.
