Rutland and Stamford's MP says it's ridiculous not to have Rutland road signs at the county border after Rutland County Council removed the remaining 17 after 10 went missing, believed to be stolen.
Alicia Kearns is calling for modern replacements to be put up as soon as possible, and for the perpetrators to be caught.
"Ten of Rutland's county signs have now been stolen from the roadside. Whoever it is that's responsible. If you know who it is, please contact the police. This is just rank criminality. In the meantime, I'm hoping that the council will get up new modern signs in place of any historic ones as soon as possible. But it's ridiculous for us to be without any signs on our roadside. You do not concede to criminality in this way, but as I said, if you know anyone, if you know who's responsible, please do reach out and talk to the police."
