Oakham Library is closed from today for around two weeks to allow improvement works to take place
as part of the Living Well Rutland initiative from Rutland County Council. Uppingham and Ketton are also still being worked on. Ryhall Library is open as normal. Book returns and collections in Oakham are operating from the Family Hub next door for the next fortnight. At Oakham Library improvements include a community room which will host library activities for adults and children, community learning, well-being activities and community events. The library will also have a new layout with a more accessible reception desk and refreshed children's area and a suite of new public computers.
