Melton Mowbray's new north and east distributor road is now fully open.
The four-and-a-half mile stretch, which is single carriageway with six roundabouts and a cycle lane, connects the A606 from the south and north sides of Melton Mowbray and cost a hundred and thirty-four million pounds to build. It's called Pork Pie Way after sixty-five percent of locals who voted backed the name offered by Leicestershire County Council.
