A prolific shoplifter from Rutland who despite numerous convictions continued to offend,
has been issued with a five year Criminal Behaviour Order banning him from entering several shops in Oakham, Uppingham and Melton. He'll also have to leave any other shop in Leicestershire and Rutland if asked to by a member of staff. 29 year old Patrick Doran of Burley Road. Langham, was convicted last Thursday after pleading guilty to three counts of theft. At the time he was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison. Police say Doran had been shoplifting for several years in the area and when challenged by staff made violent threats towards them. They also asked people to report any breaches of the order.
