You've only got till midday today if you'd like to register to speak at this Thursday evening's special meeting of Rutland County Council.
The conservative opposition has called the meeting following the government's decision to merge Rutland and Leicestershire alongside an expanded city border into two new unitary authorities.
The one that makes up Rutland and the District Councils of Leicestershire is set to cover around 600,000 people. Some councillors believe the government should be held to account for the decision and want to know what evidence they used to reach it. They're also calling for certainty over Rutland ceremonial county status, which the government intends to protect but is not yet in legislation.
