Rutland County Council is asking anyone hoping to dispose of household waste at either of their centres at Cottesmore or North Luffenham to postpone their visit until next Saturday.
They're unable to empty any of their containers at the moment due to an issue at one of the processing sites that handles materials from the recycling centres in Rutland, so they have very limited capacity for household waste at both sites.
This weekend, both Cottesmore and North Luffenham recycling centres will continue to be open as normal and are able to take other materials such as wood, plastic, glass, metal, garden waste, and electrical items.
