Concerns have been raised by locals over a number of road signs in Rutland that have gone missing, particularly the county signs.
A Rutland sign on the Braunston to Knossington Road disappeared yesterday. One near Clipsham's Yew Tree Avenue also went after a telecoms cable was removed and a Rutland sign on the Braunston to Tilton Road has also gone. A village sign at Wing has been taken over the past few weeks.
Rutland County Council says they've no plans to remove any signs ahead of local government reorganisation, which is due by 2028, where Rutland County Council will join with most of Leicestershire in a new, much larger authority.
