Rutland County Council is celebrating another strong year for secondary school allocations
with 93.3% of Rutland resident children receiving an offer at their first preference school for next September. National Offer Day was on Monday this week and all Rutland resident children have been allocated a secondary school place. Both Catmose College and Uppingham Community College were oversubscribed this year and will operate waiting lists in line with their admissions policies. Lincolnshire County Council offered 96% of children from Stamford and surrounding Lincolnshire villages their first preference school, with the most popular choice being Stamford Welland Academy.
