Sir David Attenborough got the most public votes at the first Seaton Scarecrow competition at the weekend.
There were 30 straw creations around the village, which drew in hundreds of visitors. The winning design came from the Moss family, made by children Matthew and Alex with help from their parents, Emma and Andrew. It was close run though with Donald Trump and Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean also proving popular. Money raised will go to the upkeep of Seaton Village Hall and organisers hope to repeat the event in the future.
