South Kesteven District Council is celebrating its latest rating from the regulator for social housing.
It's now on the second highest after being placed in special measures three years ago. The leader, Ashley Baxter, says councillors have worked with staff to prioritise and improve housing services for residents, helped by the creation of a housing committee and building more council properties, filling more empty properties that already exist, along with refurbishing community centres and helping to tackle homelessness.
