Emergency services in Rutland are warning of the dangers of open water
following a number of devastating incidents across the country over the recent bank holiday. Rutland Police say tragically, at least six people lost their lives in separate incidents in rivers, lakes and reservoirs. From teenagers to a man in his 60s. They say open water can be extremely dangerous from cold water shock to hidden currents and sudden drops in depth.
