Gretton’s new community orchard has its first wassailing event this afternoon.
The procession will start at the Hatton Arms with free refreshments and then the blessing of the orchard's fruit trees with singing, dancing and merriment including pans being banged with spoons and toast hung on the trees. The event runs between 3:00 and 5:00pm.
