Oakham 1sts lost by 2 wickets in their crucial bottom of the table game in the Premier Division at Egerton Park 1sts. The 2nds completed a league double by 3 wickets at Bardon Hill 1sts who are bottom of Premier 3 North. The 3rds despite hundreds from Magnus Robertson 128 and Will Stuart-Jones 105 not out, Barkby United 3rds won by 2 wickets with one ball remaining.
Uppingham Town 1sts secured a league double at bottom side in Premier 2, Ibstock Town 1sts by 167 runs. This was after Tom Welch had made 116. The 2nds at home also completing a league double with an 8-wicket victory over Langtons 2nds, whilst the 3rds who entertained Leicester Eagles 1sts lost by 87 runs.
Market Overton 1sts returned to winning ways with a league double by 37 runs at home to GNG 1sts with the 2nds losing by 118 runs at Rothley Park 4th X1.
Wakerley & Barrowden 1sts suffered a 2-wicket defeat at home to Championship Central leaders, Electricity Sports 4th X1.

Burghley Park 2nds lost by 3 runs at home to Billingborough 1sts, 2nd in Division 1 South.
Ketton Sports 2nds won by 40 runs after bowling their hosts out Baston 1sts for 80, which included 5-26 from Adam Renton.
Uffington 1sts who are top of Division 3 South beat visitors, bottom side Heckington 2nds after dismissing them for 94 to win by 8 wickets so completing a league double. Meanwhile, Stamford Town 2nds fixture was conceded by Grantham 3rds
Rutland League
In Division 1, Uppingham Town made it three wins in a row and league double as they beat visitors Ufford Park 1sts by 5 wickets thanks to an unbeaten 100 from Charlie Cox who went to his century when scoring the winning runs. Burghley Park 1sts lost at home by 79 runs to Peterborough Town 1sts.
Oakham 1sts went down by 3 wickets at Northampton Saints 1sts in Division 2.
To Division 4 and 2nd placed Ketton Sports 1sts had an important 5 wicket victory at 3rd placed Oundle Town 1sts, whilst top of the table Kimbolton 1sts won by 8 wickets at Uffington 2nds.
Grantham and Melton Cricket Association Division 2
Stamford Town 2nds have been replaced in 2nd by their hosts Frisby, Hoby & Rotherby 1sts who beat them by 6 wickets as they drop to 4th.
Market Overton 1sts unbeaten run goes to three after beating Burghley Park 2nds by 83 runs to complete a league double, despite 101 from John Barker. The foundations for the hosts was an opening partnership of 233 before Liam Bradley fell for 100. Ed Milner going on to make 161 including 27 4’s in a total of 372-2.

Market Overton 1sts lost their last league game of the season at leaders Plumtree 1sts in the East Midlands League Division 1 South by 7 wickets.
In Super 8’s cricket, Stamford Town have dropped to 2nd in the Lincolnshire Women’s South after losing by 80 runs at Woodhall Spa who have gone top.
Football
Not a good afternoon for our local sides in the United Counties Premier Division North. Blackstones lost 4-1 at home to Eastwood, Johan Coughlan with their goal and Deeping Rangers losing 3-0 at Clay Cross Town.
