Peterborough United came back from 1-0 down at half-time to draw 1-1 at Northampton Town. Jimmy-Jay Morgan with the equaliser on 52 minutes.
To the Peterborough and District League and in the Premier Division, Stamford Bells lost 3-1 on the road at Whittlesey Athletic Reserves.
Bourne Town made it back-to-back wins in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division with a 2-1 win at the Lawn over Loughborough Students. Zac Allen and Richard Jones scoring in the first half with the visitors pulling a goal back mid-way through the second half. Despite the win they remain in the bottom four but do go above Loughborough Students
Deeping Rangers after leading through a Finley Henderson goal lost 3-1 away at Eastwood in the United Counties Premier Division North.
For the second week running, Cottesmore have drawn 1-1 in the Everards Brewery Premier Division. This time at Thurnby Rangers. Steve Jucikas with the Cotts goal.

Stamford AFC made it back-back league wins as well as the double over Anstey Nomads with a 2-1 away win. The goals coming from Paige Jones and a superb free kick from Emma Pollard to secure three points.
In the Cambridgeshire Women’s League Division 1, Deeping Rangers won 2-1 at Newmarket Town Development.

What late drama at Franklin’s Gardens as Northampton Saints secured second place in Pool B of the English Premiership Cup beating Saracens 35-33 so through to the semi-finals where they will go to Exeter Chiefs on Sunday 8th March.
With five minutes remaining, Saints were trailing 33-21 until tries from Rory Hutchinson and George Hendy and two conversions by James Pater to add to his previous three saw them home. The Saints other tries scored by George Furbank, Chunya Munga and James Ramm
Stamford made it two wins in a row in Regional 2 Midlands East by 29 points to 19 away to Olney.
Bourne avenged their narrow defeat back in November with a 25-0 Lincolnshire derby win at home over Spalding in Counties 1 Midlands East (North).
Turning to Counties 3 Midlands East Division (South North) and Oakham went down 38-12 away at 3rd placed Rugby St Andrews. The Oakham points coming from Brian Takala and Cee Wara tries. Lewis Crellin with a conversion and a penalty.
Stamford College Old Boys lost out in a close fought game at home against 4th placed Syston 3rds 8-3. A Callum Fraser penalty for them.
Women’s Rugby
Holders for the last three years of the NLD Women's Senior Cup, Stamford Women 1sts are through to the final following their 27-14 win over Long Eaton where they will meet Lincoln Ladies who they beat in the 2024 final.
