Yesterday's sixth annual seed swap was another successful one at Oakham Castle, with gardeners taking and exchanging seeds and gardening advice along the way.
Root-and-Branch Out who organised the event also run a community garden at the Rutland Showground. Alex Wilby says Growers Row is a really successful weekly project.
"We're just to the west of the car park, we're there on a Wednesday, all day on a Wednesday. It's a community garden so anybody can come and turn up and help out and we share everything that we grow as well as our time. And it's a real lovely community. Even in this weather, we have over 20 people turn up on a Wednesday at various times."
