Rutland Police has been cracking down on the supply and dealing of cocaine and other drugs in the Oakham area after attending several addresses yesterday and issuing Misuse of Drugs Act notices to the occupants.
Drug-related offences are one of their priorities and this is part of their ongoing investigation into cuckooing, where criminals take over properties, often from vulnerable people, to prepare, store or deal drugs. This latest operation was run jointly with the Rutland Community Safety Partnership, Social Care and Housing Associations.
