A giant whale has landed on Stamford Recreation Ground to spread environmental messages to children and their families.
A free 30 minute show called Plastic Ocean is taking place inside an 18 metre long inflatable mammal. It's being performed six times a day between now and Sunday before it moves elsewhere in the district. The show, which already has some shows at full capacity, can be booked at Stamford Arts Centre. It's moving to Bourne and Deeping later this month and on to Grantham in May. It's organised by South Kesteven District Council with help from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
