Curve in Leicester has announced that their CEO will step down in spring 2027 to take on the role of Chief Operating Officer for a London based production company.

Chris Stafford- who first joined Curve as Executive producer before being appointed as CEO in 2015- will be joining Cameron Mackintosh Limited after working alongside acclaimed Artistic Director of the award winning, city centre performance space, Nikolai Foster, to create significant growth for the organisation.

He has worked on over 70 Made at Curve productions and co-productions, many of which have transferred to the West End and toured nationally and internationally and seen an annual turnover increase of 156%.

He said: “I leave Curve in a terrific place, and I could not be prouder of everything we have achieved together.”

Foster will now become joint CEO with Stafford’s successor, with recruitment beginning shortly.
