A new mural of Stamford is on the way in a project funded by South Kesteven District Council.
Illustrator Imogen Joyce is holding a heritage and culture workshop at the Arts Centre from 10 - 11.30 this morning and is inviting people to share their personal stories of Stamford as well as town history and culture. Imogen will create the mural and there'll be an exhibition at St John's Church with community artwork too. It's part of the Our Place Our Art project which the council is funding through art pop up to promote town pride and creativity.
