An 18 metre long inflatable whale is soon to appear in Stamford, Bourne, Deeping and Grantham to raise awareness of damage caused by plastic on our environment.
Explorers aged three and over will be invited to step inside, thanks to funding from the UK Prosperity Fund. An interactive performance of puppetry, comedy, music and circus skills will be delivered from inside the inflatable creature in this free event, which begins on the 15th and 16th of March on Stamford Recreation Ground, before moving to the Red Hall in Bourne and Jubilee Park at Deeping St James over the following two weekends and Grantham in the middle of May. Tickets are free, but must be booked in advance. They're also hoping to book school and nursery performances on Fridays.
