New Radio Station Imminent!

Rutland and Stamford Sound will soon launch its pilot radio station after Rutland County Council agreed to transfer its project budget to the community interest company

The Rutland Community Radio project is being led by former Rutland Radio presenter Rob Persani.

Rob has spent more than two decades working in the radio industry and will oversee the project to establish if a community radio station could be set up and sustained locally.

    We're holding a drop-in session for local people who are interested in learning more about volunteering opportunities with the community radio station serving Rutland, Stamford and the surrounding area. The drop-in event is being held in the theatre lounge at Stamford Corn Exchange from 5pm to 8pm on Wednesday 24 April.
